Domain Name Sales Activity – 30th January to 12th February

As we rounded out January and began the new month, premium domain sales have shown little sign of slowing down. Following on from the seven names that featured in our last list, this time another four entrants found themselves the story of the last fortnight. A standout winner and a fantastic name in its own right, diy.com.au was registered for a total of $7,309.45. Securing the name was a sole trader who currently operates diyaustralia.com, one of the nation’s most prominent suppliers for a range of custom made kitchens. Not only is this short acronym one of the most recognisable […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 16th January to 29th January

In the last fortnight, we’ve seen a fast start to the year. Seven premium domain names were registered by our clients. After three and a half months without an acronym featuring on our list – quite an unusual absence – two acronyms emerged among the highest sellers, also joining the usual likes of descriptive names. With a price tag of $7,049.85, advent.com.au was the number one seller in this edition of our report. The name was secured by Advent Private Capital Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s most experienced private equity firms based out of Melbourne with over 30 years history. […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 5th December to 18th December

With Christmas less than a week away, it would appear that a couple of our clients have secured themselves an early present in the form of some excellent domain names. As we noted in our last premium domain name sales report, the trend has again focused on keyword domains. In this edition of our sales report, one of our clients was lucky enough to secure themselves two premium domain names. The registrant, a sole trader based in Sydney, was able to attain sofas.com.au as well as homewares.com.au. In the case of the former, the name was registered for a final […]

Your Chance to Claim Gold

Every so often, here at Netfleet we’re involved in the sale of a domain name that we know will capture the attention of the domain name community. This time, we’re confident our latest high profile domain gold.com.au, will eclipse several records. What makes us so confident? First of all, a name of this nature has broad appeal to a wide range of people. Not only would domainers be eyeing the sale with a view to make an investment in a potentially lucrative asset, but end users would also stand to gain from access to this web address. Besides gold being […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 7th November to 4th December

As we roll into December and prepare to farewell another year, we’ve seen business owners take a more subdued approach to domaining. In their place however, domainers have remained engaged and picked up some great value names. The trend this time saw keyword domains take centre stage, with descriptive titles appearing to take the fancy of domainers. We detail the registrations here in our latest premium domain name sales report. Starting our list this time around, audiologist.com.au was scooped up for $1,755.55. The new registrant, a Queensland-based full service online marketing solution business, will no doubt have attained this name […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 17th October to 6th November

During the past three weeks we witnessed one name join Netfleet’s list of top selling domains, while we also experienced a bumper day on the 4th of November with several high-profile names changing hands. Starting with the big seller, koala.com.au was scooped up for a total sum of $55,049.45 (including GST and brokerage). The figure was enough to propel the name to third place among our highest selling domains of all time – and it’s certainly not out of place either! With such an iconic Australian name, the domain will certainly be easy for potential page visitors to remember. Furthermore, a […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 26th September to 16th October

After a three week hiatus, we’re back with the latest update regarding premium domain name sales through Netfleet. This edition covers four names which passed the $1,000 barrier, and as always, our thoughts are included for each domain. Edging out its peers to take the honours for the top selling domain was yq.com.au. Picked up by a private domain name investor, the name is likely to have gathered attention due to its two letter composition. While the letter mix isn’t perhaps as lucrative as some other two-letter combinations, domainers and registrants are typically drawn to a name like this because […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 19th September to 25th September

Another week has seen Netfleet involved in the exchange of four premium domain names. This week saw a variety of names break the $1,000 mark – from keywords for services and products, to a short punchy name, and there was even a two letter name which changed hands. Here are the details. Our highest selling domain for the week went to chic.com.au, which was acquired on the 22nd of September by a private domain name investor for the sum of $1,404.65. The investor in question has opted to park and advertise the domain for resale. With the short, recognisable and […]

Domain Name Sales Activity – 12th September to 18th September

This edition of our premium domain name sales report involves four names that were acquired during the last week. First up, and taking its place at the top of the highest selling domains for the week, was perthpodiatry.com.au. Selling on the 11th of September for $4,009.45, the domain now sits with Lee A. Gray and Associates Pty Ltd. The business is in fact a large, longstanding podiatry practice operating in the Western Australian suburb of Booragoon. Currently, said business is trading as The Perth Foot and Ankle Clinic, using perthfootankle.com.au as its domain name. This new name however, will offer […]

Our highest selling domain across the last fortnight went to openpay.com.au, which sold on the 2nd of September for a final sum of $3,679.45.
