What are Domain Snapper Auctions?
Everyday hundreds of Australian domain names expire as the current domain owner has not renewed their domain name licence. Each day, our Domain Snapper Auctions will show a list of these expiring domain names for you to bid on. If you are the highest bidder, we will then attempt to register the domain name on your behalf, that very same day.
Why would I want to bid on the Domain Snapper Auctions?
There are hundreds of people who watch these expiring domain names waiting for the chance to register for themselves, including your competitors. Many of these expiring domain names are valuable, highly sought after assets. Using our advanced technology, and in partnership with auDA accredited .au registrars such as Netregistry, PlanetDomain, MD Web Hosting and more, we have the ability to check, and register, faster than any human can.
When do Domain Snapper Auctions run?
Domain Snapper Auctions run every single day, from 15:30 AEST to 12:55 AEST the following day (including weekends and public holidays). Between the hours of 12:55 AEST and 15:30 AEST, these expiring domains enter what's known as a domain purge period. This is the period where domain names will expire.
How much does it cost?
Once auction closes, the highest bidder wins, and using our Domain Snapper technology we will attempt to register the domain name the millisecond it expires in the highest bidders name. If we do not successfully register the domain name on your behalf (if a competitor beats us to the chase), you pay nothing. There is nothing to lose! In other words, we offer a NO WIN NO FEE policy!
To be eligible to enter the Domain Snapper Auctions, you must subscribe to our service. There are two subscription options available:
Example A
1. You win the auction with a high bid of $110
2. Netfleet fails to register the domain name on your behalf
3. No charge
Example B

2. Netfleet successfully registers the domain name on your behalf

Are there any exclusions?
1) If a domain name has been backordered using our Domain Snapper Backorders product, you will be unable to enter bids for that domain, and we will attempt to register it in the name of our backordered client.
