Buy Domains

As the demand for Australian domain names continues to grow, the availability of quality domain names to register become less and so many people look to buy domain names instead. The AU domain names listed on Netfleet fall in to three different listing types shown below, with an additional option for domain backorders. To buy a domain, you can either browse through the domain name listings using the Domain Name Categories, search for domain names using the Advanced Domain Name Search, or select a listing type of interest below for further information.

  • Standard Catalogue
These domain names have already been registered, however the owner has decided to sell and have listed these domains to buy right now. There are no end dates for these listings, unlike our domain auctions, and the domain buying process follows a traditional offer and counter offer system.

  • Domain Aftermarket Auctions
Again these domains are currently registered but the owner is keen to sell so has made them available to buy. The domains are listed in an auction scenario, with a specified end date, and the highest bidder would buy the domain name. Please go to the Domain Aftermarket Auction User Guide for detailed information on this service, or go straight to todays Live Aftermarket Auction

  • Domain Snapper Auctions
Everyday hundreds of Australian domain names expire as the current domain owner has not renewed their domain name licence. Each day, our Domain Snapper Auctions will show a list of these domain names for you to bid on. If you are the highest bidder, we will then attempt to register the domain on your behalf, that very same day. This isn't a method to buy domains but rather bid for the right to register them. Please go to the Domain Snapper Auction User Guide for detailed information on this product, or go straight to todays Live Domain Snapper Auction

  • Domain Snapper Backorders
This is a service to backorder domain names that are already registered. Once you have placed your backorder, our system will then continually monitor your domain name, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will deduce when your domain name is due to expire, and attempt to register the domain name the millisecond it expires. Please go to the Domain Snapper Backorder User Guide for detailed information on this product.
