One of the most effective ways to sell a domain name is to advertise on your domain names website directly.
Often, buyers will simply navigate to your website address looking for a contact form to make an offer, or an indication of the probability you may sell. If you own a few domain names and don't have time to put up a mini site with a for sale banner or contact form, then we have the solutions for you.
Domain Parking by Netfleet is a free to use hosting solution to help sell your domains quicker than ever before. Â To use, you need to change your name servers to use the Netfleet name servers, and then depending on the status of your domain name with Netfleet, your domain name will show three different pages:
1. Recently Snapped Domains
By default, all domain names snapped via the Snapper Auctions will display a recently snapped page. Â An example of this page, can be seen here:
The great benefit of this default page is that whilst you are arranging which development route to take, you can park your domain, and be alerted if anyone shows interest in acquiring the domain name. You can update your default name servers for recently snapped domain names at any time in the Members Area under Account Settings.
2. Standard Listing domains on Netfleet
If you domain name is listed for sale on Netfleet as a Standard Listing, we will display a different page announcing the domain is for sale, and either directing the buyer straight to your listing, and also giving the potential buyer an opportunity to ask you a question, which you can respond to using the usual Questions and Answers section  within the Members Area. 3. Aftermarket Auction domains on Netfleet
If you domain name is listed for sale on Netfleet as an Aftermarket Auction domain, we will display a slightly different page announcing the domain is for sale, directing the buyer straight to where they can make a bid on your domain name at auction, with a count down timer displaying how long they have until the auction ends. An example of this page, can be seen here:
Firstly, it is important to note that use of Netfleets' Domain Parking solution is only authorised if you did not register the domain for the sole purpose of resale. Use of the Domain Parking solution therefore is an indication to us that you did not.
Secondly, to get up and running, you simply need to change the name servers for your domain name to the following 2 name servers:
dns1.netfleet.com.au
dns2.netfleet.com.au
This can be done from the registrar of your domain name. Once this has been done, it may take up to 24 hours for the details to propagate. Once this has occurred, your domain name will display one of the page pages detailed above!
