IP Neighbourhood is a professional research suite containing 18 new tools to assist buyers and sellers alike.

This week at Netfleet, we have identified our favourite 6 tools within the IP Neighbourhood suite and present some of the key benefits to your business.

1. Domain Due Diligence

  • To validate statistics provided by the seller when you are looking to purchase a domain or website
  • Multiple trust metrics help you determine link quality to safely assess how the domain or website was previously used thereby eliminating issues eminating from artificial or farmed backlinks
  • For sellers, the tool offers extensive stats on page rank and organic pages listed in search engines. As higher ranking sites may require less ongoing SEO investment, the domain or website may command a higher selling price. This information can also be made transparent to your client

2.  Auction Intelligence

  • Shows full purchase and transfer information combined with a full whois history at various time intervals
  • View historical whois records including Registration, Admin and Technical contacts
  • Shows multiple search functions and shows trends in domain name acquisitions

3. Domain Name Management

  • Saves you time by allowing you to manage all of your domain names and websites in one place
  • Gives you total visability of your portfolio

  4. Aftermarkets & Auctions

  •   Integration with multiple marketplaces and auction websites
  •   Sophisticated SEARCH function and visibility of advance metrics all on one screen

5. Expired Domains

  • 60,000 + new expired domain names added daily *
  • Allows you to quickly identify domains in your chosen market

Free Aftermarket Auctions (with reserves) and Hot Leads https://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/australian-domains/free-aftermarket-auctions-with-reserves-and-hot-leads/ Thu, 06 Sep 2012 08:06:33 +0000 http://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/?p=667 Has the 4% listing fee for reserve prices on the Aftermarket Auctions been keeping you from listing your premium domains names?

We are now offering zero upfront cost Aftermarket Auctions (with reserve prices) if Netfleet.com.au is the registrar for the domain.

To Transfer your domains to Netfleet go to
https://www.netfleet.com.au/transfer.php

We have been running our current format of Aftermarket Auctions since November 2011 so I thought it was time to share some insights into what I have observed in the last 10 months.

  • There have been 850 completed sales, with a success rate just under 10%
  • 82% of the sales where by 10% of the sellers.
  • The most successful sales were the ones with no reserve
  • There seems to be a lack of marketing being undertaken by the sellers

To help you with identifying leads to better market your domain names we have also added links to websites which are actively marketing to the keywords contained in your domain names. Just go to

https://www.netfleet.com.au/ama.php

after you have your auctions up and running and click on the icon in the Leads column.

Just a reminder that Netfleet charges only 8% commission on sales from the Aftermarket Auctions and we handle all the invoicing on your behalf. We also offer the Change of Registrant process for cost price ($18.43) meaning you can make the most of your time and money.

Domain portfolio management simplified with folders https://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/australian-domains/domain-management-domain-portfolio-management-simplified-with-folders/ Tue, 21 Aug 2012 06:07:37 +0000 http://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/?p=660 Domain Management Filters and FoldersAs a company focused on servicing the needs of domain name traders it it only fitting that we upgrade our Domain Management tools to help you manage large portfolios of domain names. So with this in mind we listened to your feedback on forums like dntrade.com.au and have added domain categorisation, or as we call it folders to help you organise your domains.

Do you have more than 100 domains and wanted to find all the domains expiring in 90 days, that are using dns1.netfleet.com.au as a nameserver and have auto-renew set to off? Well this information is now just 3 clicks away as we have added a few filters to help you find specific domains. Like a drop down list of all the name servers you are using and the ability to filter by domains with auto-renew enabled or off. At this point our bulk tools will prove to be very useful as you might choose to renew them all or even update their name servers.

If you have been sitting on the fence wondering if it is worth the effort of transferring your domains then now is the time to act. Remember transfers of domains between .au Registrars is always FREE and we offer domain renewals and Change of Registrant for $18.43 (for 2 years).

Q&A section for every domain name listing https://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/domain-tools/qa-section-for-every-domain-name-listing/ Thu, 03 Nov 2011 04:21:00 +0000 http://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/?p=507 Our latest development for Netfleet.com.au has just been released – a Questions & Answers Section for every Standard Domain Listing.

All too often a buyer may have a question for the seller ahead of submitting an offer that isn’t covered in the listings description. The Q&A section on every listing allows you to ask any question surrounding the domain name, such as the traffic it receives, the revenue generated, or the age of the domain for example.

The seller then has a few options when responding the buyer:

a) Respond privately to the seller via email

b) Respond publicly to the seller – with the answer posted on the listing for others to see

c) Respond publicly to the seller – with the answer posted on the listing for others to see AND on every domain name they have for sale on Netfleet.

This is a great addition to the sales process, opening the lines of communication, and ultimately leading to a quicker sales process.  Please note, to ask a question, you must be logged in.   Furthermore, all questions and answer are moderated.

Please let us know if you come across any issues or have any suggestions

Thanks

Netfleet Alerts – New Tool To Track Domains/Industry/Niches https://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/australian-domains/netfleet-alerts-new-tool-to-track-domainsindustryniches/ Thu, 17 Mar 2011 05:00:10 +0000 http://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/?p=119 Tired of sifting through lists and lists of domains? Only interested in a specific industry or niche? Well, you’ll be happy to know we’ve developed a brand new tool to help – Netfleet Alerts. The Netfleet Alert service monitors domains added to Netfleet for sale, or that are due to expire and appear in our Snapper Auctions, and emails alerts based on the keywords or domain names entered:

http://www.netfleet.com.au/alerts

You don’t need to register with Netfleet to use it, you just enter your industry/niche keywords or domains and away you go. If a positive match is found, it will email you matches, and direct you to where you can acquire the domain, which is either Snapper Auctions, Aftermarket Auctions or Standard Catalogue Listings. Ideal for those of you who don’t want to continually check for certain domains – you just enter their domain or keyword, and forget about it. The Netfleet Alerts service will keep tabs for you.

Any feedback, bugs or suggestions, please add a comment here!

Want Quick Domain Sales? Auction YOUR domains today! https://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/other-domains/want-quick-domain-sales-auction-your-domains-today/ Wed, 22 Sep 2010 06:01:12 +0000 http://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/?p=459 As you may or may not know, Netfleet.com.au has always been a classified listing site for your domain names, with no end dates for listings, and the process following a traditional offer and counter offer system. However, after much development, we are now extremely happy to announce the complete release of our Domain Aftermarket Auction platform to complement our standard platform. We have run a couple of auctions to test various sales and bidding options, and fine tune our system, and we are now satisfied that the platform is fit to sell your domain names today!

Hurry, Places Are Limited!

We will be running our Domain Aftermarket Auctions every single week, each running for 7 days, from Tuesday to Tuesday. In order to maximise sales for each and every auction, we have decided to limit the number of domains in each auction, therefore concentrating bidding energy in to just a few select domains each week. This nurtures a high level of activity for every single auction, ensuring that quality is not diluted between domains, and your domain is not lost in the crowd.

How to Submit Your Domains

Submitting your domains is a two minute process. Once logged in to the Members Area, click Add Domains to start the step by step wizard. Follow the prompts, and from there you can choose your domain name, preferred auction date and reserve pricing. Then, sit back and relax and watch the bids roll in!

Want to know more?

For a detailed breakdown on our new sales platform, please read the Domain Aftermarket Auctions User Guide on Netfleet. Equally, do not hesitate to Contact Us should you require further information.

All the best,

The Netfleet Team

Domain Aftermarket Auction – Technology Special https://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/other-domains/domain-aftermarket-auction-technology-special/ Fri, 20 Aug 2010 05:19:14 +0000 http://www.netfleet.com.au/blog/?p=456 Domain Aftermarket Auction – Technology Special

Due to the success of our first Domain Aftermarket Auction on Netfleet, we are happy to announce its return in the form of a TECHNOLOGY SPECIAL, which is now open for your bids. The quality of these domain names is first class. Just skimming down the list shows a plethora of one word generic domain names that are at the absolute top of their food chain. Getting to the top of Google or Yahoo using the power of these domains goes without saying. Deciding on which domain, or domains you want, will be the hard part.

These domain names will only be for sale in our auction for 7 days. Do not miss out on the opportunity to buy a domain name that can build a business and visit the Domain Aftermarket Auction today. Without further ado, lets see which technology related domain names are going under the hammer:

How To Bid Bidding on these premium domain names couldn’t be easier. Simply login with your Netfleet username and password, enter your maximum bid for any domain names you choose, and click submit. The colour coded legend on the right will indicate how successful your bid was, showing either red, or green, with a full explanation of why (you were outbid, you are winning etc).

We appreciate you do not have every hour of the day to increase your bid price should you be beaten by a higher bid, so have incorporated maximum bidding, or proxy bidding in to the platform. This means every bid you enter should be your maximum, and the system will automatically bid on your behalf, only ever $1 higher than the previous bid. For example, if you enter a bid of $200 for a domain, and another users subsequently bids $150, the system will automatically bid you up to $151, meaning you would still be winning the auction.

Bidding is underway right now, closing at Fri, 27th Aug 2010 15:00:00 AEST, so to secure your chance of acquiring one of these premium .au domain names, check out our Domain Aftermarket Auctions right now:
